I bought numerous rings on EBay ranging from $4-$8.
I recently took about 5-10-15 to 2 Pawn Shops near my home and got paid $25-$40 a piece per ring.
The stones were not real. The metal was 10K or 14k Gold Plated. All rings were purchased from China. These weren’t solid gold rings. White and yellow gold plating. Not Electroplated.
I also wasn’t trying to make money, I just didn’t wear these rings and was curious if they were worth anything.
So, why were these rings worth so much?
Curious on what the underlying metal was. I didn’t ask.
